Usman Garuba, a Nigerian-born player with a Spanish passport, is eligible to participate in the 2021 NBA Drafti by completing his documents.
ESPN Jonathan GivonyGaruba will take part in the draft, according to the news.
Garuba, 19, has had a good season playing in 79 matches this season, including the EuroLeague, the Spanish League (ACB) and local cup organizations.
Usman, who plays with an average of 19 minutes in ACB, has averages 5.6 points – 5.3 rebounds. In the fourth playoff game against Anadolu Efes, he played with 24 points – 12 rebounds, enabling them to achieve a critical victory.
He was also awarded the Rising Star Award of the 2020-21 season in the EuroLeague and named Best Young Player of the Year in ACB. The Spanish-born player has been playing for Real Madrid since the lower age categories.
