Davis was forced to leave the field in the first half of the series, because the basketball player injured his groin. The journalist also points out that there is reason for optimism that he will be able to help the team again in the continuation of the series. The 28-year-old also struggled in the third duel of the series with a minor knee injury.
In the first four games of the series against “Dog”, Davis averaged 21.8 points, eight rebounds and two block throws. The score now stands at 2-2. The fifth game is scheduled for Phoenix on June 2 at 5:00 Latvian time.
The American had also suffered various injuries during the regular championship, participating in 36 Lakers duels, averaging 21.8 points, winning 7.9 balls under baskets, and blocking opponents’ throws 1.6 times. This is his second season in the Los Angeles team, triumphing in the championship last season.
