On June 5, the rugby school is organizing an internal internship

On Saturday morning, the José Pénétro stadium is in turmoil. The rugby school, despite the health crisis, maintains its activity with all the usual precautions. The members of the association’s office, David Claysac, Véronique Lasgleyzes and Denis Matta, make sure the morning goes smoothly. 110 children divided according to categories from 6 to 14 years old, occupy all corners of the site.

Twenty-three educators share with them the taste of playing oval ball. Who knows ? Perhaps, in ten years or so, the rare pearl out of this group will make the headlines, in the champions section.

Multisport course

On June 5, the president of the intercommunal rugby school announced an internal internship. The organization is the responsibility of Slyven Nagoua, the talented fullback of the ASL II team. The young man is preparing a professional certificate for youth, popular education and sports (BP Jeps), with the Departmental Olympic Committee. He wants to work as a multisport sports educator. It is within the framework of his studies that he was brought to propose this event.

The club takes care of the morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

It will be a multisport course for a whole day. In the morning, eight workshops will be operational to introduce children to different sports: handball, football, archery, frisbee, not to mention rugby. Inflatable poles will be set up for a penalty shootout competition.

It should be noted that Nadège and Valérie, faithful educators, having seen their Baby rugby training validated, the school will welcome, next season, children from 3 years old. It will not be a question of playing rugby but of promoting motor skills, cultivating balance, handling the ball. These practices are effective in the development of children, resulting in more socialization more than necessary in our time.
