KOMPAS.com – Antonio Conte officially parted ways with Inter Milan, the club he had just led to win Serie A – the Italian league’s top caste competition – the 2020/2021 season.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the certainty that Antonio Conte left Inter Milan via uploads on his personal Twitter account.

“Inter will announce in the next few hours, their separation from Antonio Conte. He will receive 7 million euros (Rp 121.9 billion),” wrote Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday (26/5/2021) night.

Financial problems are thought to be the main reason Antonio Conte finally chose to leave Inter Milan.

However, Sky Italia said Inter Milan did not agree with Conte’s desire to sell their star players.

As a result, the 51-year-old coach chose to leave Inter Milan.

“They decided to separate because Conte wanted a new contract and a clear project to win again – Inter had to sell players to generate 80 million euros (Rp 1.39 trillion) this summer because of their financial situation,” wrote Fabrizio Romano explaining.

Antonio Conte was appointed as Inter Milan coach on May 31, 2019 and is contracted until 2022.
