An extraordinary performance. Norway dominates the men’s 50m 3-position rifle competition at the 2021 Europeans, taking gold and silver in one of the main competitions of the discipline.

The 1999 class of Jon-Hermann Hegg prevailed, in the first triumph at these levels, who with an overall score of 461.0 surpasses compatriot Henrik Larsen, second at 459.9, in a podium completed by the bronze of the Belarusian expert Yury Shcherbatsevich, third after collecting 448.9 points.

Behind them were then placed: the Russian Sergei Kamensky, who finished fourth (439.0), the representative of the Czech Republic Jiri Privratsky, fifth at 428.8 points, the Serbian Milenko Sebic, sixth with a score of 418.5, the third Norwegian in competition or Simon Claussen, seventh at 405.1 points, and finally the Lithuanian Karolis Girulis, eighth due to his 403.1 points and in any case very happy to have obtained the Olympic card up for grabs in the competition.

Tomorrow there is expectation instead for the same contest, but for women, where also Italy with Sofia Ceccarello, Martina Ziviani, Sabrina Sena and Barbara Gambaro will try to take a medal and a card for Tokyo.
