NFL | Quebecer Catherine Raîche named vice-president of the Philadelphia Eagles

Previously, she was the Eagles Football Operations and Player Personnel Coordinator.

From now on, she will have even more responsibilities in the organization.

Never has a woman landed such a high position in the hierarchy of an NFL roster.

Raîche, who dreams of becoming general manager of a circuit team, arrived in the world of football in 2015, when Jim Popp, then general manager of the Montreal Alouettes, hired her as an intern.

Subsequently, she was appointed football administration coordinator for the Alouettes, before being chosen for the position of assistant general manager, in January 2017.

Raîche then worked for the Toronto Argonauts, the Tampa Bay Vipers in the XFL. Eventually, the Eagles offered him a job in operations and recruiting.
