After signing a contract with the Seattle Seahawks, Quebec offensive lineman Pier-Olivier Lestage seems to be in the good graces of head coach Pete Carroll.
Ballast will be used as a guard by the Seahawks and will also act as an “emergency center,” according to information reported by Gregg Bell of The News Tribune.
“I am very excited to see this youngster,” said Pete Carroll earlier Friday.

Six-foot-three offensive lineman who played for the Université de Montréal Carabins, Lestage came to an understanding with the Seahawks as an undrafted player after Day 3 of the NFL Draft. .
Lestage became the third player in Montreal Carabins history to join a Goodell Tour team after Marc-Antoine Dequoy with the Packers last year and David Foucault with the Panthers in 2014.
