The Granada club has had a great season
The Granada Badminton Club has achieved promotion to the Sport Top 8 League, the highest category of national badminton after a successful season in which it has won fourteen of the fifteen games played. The projection of the Granada club is especially good. It was founded in 1990 and since then it has already participated three times in the top badminton competition and is now back again after only two years in the First Division.
The mayor of Granada, Luis Salvador, highlighted that he has achieved a place among the greats of badminton with the youngest team in the entire category. “It is very commendable, since almost all the players who join the club have been trained in their own quarry and are under 18 years old,” he stressed. He put special emphasis on the fact that the club currently has “almost a hundred young players. Without a doubt, it is a source of pride for Granada that we can count on players who triumph both nationally and internationally with the Spanish team.
