Milwaukee Bucks knock Heat off the board

It is a scathing revenge that the Bucks get on the Heat, who had stepped on them last summer, in the Orlando bubble, before reaching the championship final of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

At the time, Giannis Antetokounmpo was playing despite an injury and the players had their minds elsewhere following their historic one-match boycott in the name of fighting racial injustice.

This time, everyone except Donte Di Vicenzo, injured in the left ankle, is 100% and well focused on the supreme goal of a second title, 50 years after the first gleaned by the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson.

If Antetokounmpo has multiplied, scoring 20 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds, he was not the top scorer on his team. Pivot Brook Lopez did even better, scoring 25 points.

In total, six Bucks players finished with 10 or more points.

In this first round clash, the Heat were only involved in the first game, lost in overtime 109-107.

The playoffs continue during the day in the NBA with the fourth game between Portland and Denver. The Nuggets are currently in the driver’s seat.

In the evening, Washington will host Philadelphia, which leads 2-0, and Utah will travel to Memphis for the third game in a so far tied series.
