As in the first World Cup game against Italy (9: 4), the 30-year-old keeper of Adler Mannheim was given preference over regular goalie Mathias Niederberger, who was spared for the preliminary round against the Latvians.
Missed opportunities take revenge
In order to reward yourself, the passing game was often too imprecise and the power play was not dangerous enough. The comeback of top talent Lukas Reichel didn’t change that.
