France team: Lloris and Lemar alone absent from training

Two absent in training this Friday at the end of the afternoon, under the blue sky of Yvelines. Hugo Lloris, first. The goalkeeper and captain of the Blues is embarrassed in the arch of one foot. No worries, however, indicates the staff of the France team. The Tottenham goalkeeper is expected this Saturday for a new collective session. The other two goalkeepers, Mike Maignan and Steve Mandanda, worked alongside the specific coach, Franck Raviot.

Among the field players present at Clairefontaine (Pogba, Giroud, Zouma and Kanté will arrive in the coming days), Thomas Lemar was the other absent for the day. Like Thursday, the attacking midfielder of Atlético de Madrid continues his work of recovery after his left thigh injury on May 8. He should not be part of the group available against the Welsh, Wednesday June 2 in a friendly.

Friday’s session began with a classic warm-up followed by ball driving exercises and the traditional toro. A good opposition then took place 10 against 10 on small goals, without a goalkeeper. The two goalkeepers played the role of captain when composing the teams. The one led by Maignan, with Mbappé, Griezmann or Dembélé, won ahead of that of Mandanda, with Benzema, Rabiot or Thuram. A quiet victory, under the eyes of the curious Lemar, concluded with a group photo of the winners. The session ended around the central circle of the Pierre-Pibarot field with stretching.
