Esteban Mejía and Steven Quesada, fourth and ninth in the cycling zone – La Crónica del Quindío

The event granted the classification to the Quindianos to the National Tour of the Future, in Norte de Santander.

In the Regional Cycling Zone, which took place over the weekend in Yarumal, Antioquia, the cyclist Esteban Mejía, a native of Filandia, achieved fourth place in the general standings.

Similarly, Steven Quesada, a native of Circasia, ranked ninth.

On the last day, a 4.5 kilometer time trial, 99 riders from the junior category participated, to which the 2 Quindianos belong.

Esteban Mejía made a time of 13 minutes, 20 seconds, remaining fifth, while Steven Quesada’s time was 13 minutes, 33 seconds — ninth.

The first place went to Cristian Damián Vélez from Antioquia with a mark of 12 minutes and 51 seconds.

The event brought together 450 of the best cyclists from the children’s, youth, junior and women’s categories.
