Dupasquier Moto3 Racer Dies After Big Crash

Moto3 racer Jason Dupasquier was declared dead after a terrible accident in qualifying at the Italian GP on Saturday (30/5).

The sad news is known from the upload of the official MotoGP Twitter account. In its uploads, MotoGP expressed a great loss for Dupasquier’s departure.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the departure of Jason Dupasquier,” wrote the MotoGP account.


“On behalf of the entire MotoGP family, we send our love to the Dupasquier team, family and loved ones. You will be missed very much, Jason. Ride in Peace.”

Dupasquier died after being rushed to the hospital after an accident in the Moto3 qualifiers. At that time, the 19-year-old racer was in critical condition.

The incident occurred when Tech3 racer Ayumu Sasaki crashed with CarXper Prustel’s Jason Duspaquier during the final qualifying round, when the riders were racing their bikes to get the best starting position for tomorrow’s race.

In a video circulating on Twitter, Duspaquier fell first due to the downside at turn 9. A moment later, Sasaki, who was speeding up, hit Duspaquier.
