Donte DiVincenzo out until the end of the playoffs, hard blow for Milwaukee

Everything has been going too well for the Milwaukee Bucks the past few days. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his team lead 3-0 in the first round of the playoffs against Miami and display impressive serenity. Unfortunately, a chappe of lead befell the Wisconsin franchise this weekend. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Donte DiVincenzo will no longer play the season due to a serious tendon injury.

If the Bucks aren’t your thing, and you haven’t watched their games this season, this news might seem harmless to you. The former MOP and NCAA champion with Villanova isn’t a league superstar, he’s a fact. Nonetheless, Mike Budenholzer made him a starter this season (66 appearances in the five) and the boy rose to prominence in the squad with 27 minutes per game, over 10 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3 assists on average, but also a riot of precious energy in the field.

Milwaukee, who will qualify for the next round in the next few days, barring a cataclysm, will have to wonder who to replace Donte DiVincenzo in the backcourt to accompany Jrue Holiday. Bryn Forbes, who is on a more shooting profile, seems in the best position to recover the spot and the minutes. In the next round, the Bucks are likely to find the Brooklyn Nets in their way. The slightest absence, the slightest flaw, will be exploited by BK and his trio of superstars.

Donte DiVincenzo, what sequel for the hero of the final?
