For the fifth time in her career (after the 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 editions), Carolina Marin won the gold medal in the women’s singles at the European Championships. The Spanish player (27), who also holds the Olympic title, won in the final against Danish Line Christophersen (21-13, 21-18).
