After a 2020 hiatus due to the pandemic, the sports campuses return to Baiona this summer with the help of the City Council and local sports clubs and with the collaboration of CaixaBank and La Caixa Foundation. There will be 19 activities that will be offered throughout the eleven weeks of June 28 and September 4.
The novelties this year are the urban sports campuses, American football, paddle tennis and table tennis and the calendar also includes those of dance, tennis, combat sports, rhythmic gymnastics, futsal, soccer, beach volleyball, multisport, athletics , basketball, cycling, skating, badminton and urban sports, which will be repeated in July and August.
Each campus will last one week and will run from 10:00 to 14:00, with the possibility of entering at 9:00, with the exception of the nautical one, which will have a special afternoon schedule. The prices of each one vary, but the Council launches a bonus of 300 euros for the eleven weeks of 200 for five.
Blue Week
Likewise, the Department of Sports and Maritime Activities also recovers the Blue Week for the promotion of nautical sports on June 23, 24 and 25 in A Ladeira. Attendees will practice dinghy sailing, paddle surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, surfing and kite surfing as a novelty. They will do it from 11.00 to 18.00 with a stop for lunch.
