African Judo Championship: Faicel, Mustapha and Abderrahmane, the big winners of Saturday

The 42nd edition of the African Judo Championships was in its third day this Saturday, May 22, 2021. In the men’s category, Jaballah Faicel, Bouamar Mustapha and Benamadi Abderrahmane are the big winners.

The judo fights continue in the precincts of Dakar Arena. On behalf of this Saturday, May 22, Jaballah Faicel won the title of African champion in the + 100kg category. Behind the Tunisian, stands the Algerian Benrekaa Mohamed Sofiane who wins the silver medal. The bronze went to Tunisian Ben Khaled Anis.

The -100kg category was dominated by Algerian Bouamar Mustapha, who won gold. In second place comes the Tunisian Ben Ghares Koussay, while the third place was won by the Ivorian Kobena Koffi Kreme.
It is also an Algerian who is champion in the -90kg category. Benamadi Abderrahmane outclasses Ghanaian Anani Kwadjo, who settled for the silver medal. The bronze medal was snatched by Tunisian Ben Ammar Abdelaziz.

The day of this Saturday, May 22 was therefore completely dominated by Maghrebian judokas.
