The rumor of a white season for Victor Oladipo was very worrying, after a second operation in two and a half years on his right quadriceps tendon. But the surgeon who has just operated on the Miami rear, Doctor Jonathan Glashow, was reassuring.
“I repaired the quadriceps tendon and did it a little differently from what had been done before”, he explains to ESPN. “The quadriceps weren’t really hooked. It was torn, and I re-tied it. I was really amazed that he played like this. I’m very optimistic that he’ll be free to play in six months, by November. I think he can quite regain his level. “
It is still a little worrying for Victor Oladipo, because it means that his quadriceps tendon tore a second time following the first operation.
“The operation went very well and the healing is very good”, continues Jonathan Glashow about this second intervention. “I’m sure he will play next year.”
The prospect of a white season is therefore fading for the former Pacers player, but it seems rather unrealistic to see him again at the start of the next campaign. A complicated situation for Victor Oladipo, who is free agent at the end of the season and who will therefore have to negotiate a new contract under difficult conditions.
