The Thouarean Archers club is entering its seventh year of existence, with a membership of several dozen practitioners, aged 9 to 70 years.
“The first years, the club had invested in equipment and, more particularly, in competition arcs, to offer them on loan to our young competitive archers. For the past three years, our investment has focused on coaching, going from two to four coaches and training five of our archers to act as assistant coaches ”, explains Philippe, Guiet, president of the Thouarean Archers.
“We are also supporting one of our licensees in his referee training, who has now been a federal graduate for a few months. Since last year, we have been offering our competitive archers courses supervised by a professional trainer. “
The club is regularly represented during the various national competitions.
