A resounding success in participating in the first car race of the year organized by V-Line Org., A Lloret de Mar rally that this weekend will put a wide range of vehicles in competition, corresponding to very different eras. Grouped in Speed, Regularity and Legend-Exhibition, the participants will fight between today and tomorrow for the most genuine sections of the province of Girona in search of victory in the inaugural event of the Catalonia Rally Championship 2021; again, with several international teams among the aspirants and the overwhelming figure of 138 entrants.
The start will be this afternoon from the Paseo Marítimo in Lloret de Mar; epicenter of a test composed of two stages, with three specials in double pass each of them, which bring together, at night and during the day, the sections par excellence of the province of Girona: Tossa-St. Grau, Cladells, Osor (today), climb to the Angels, Sta. Pellaia and Canyet (tomorrow Saturday).
In total, about 150 timed kilometers, which will face in the format of Speed, Regularity and Legend-Exhibition, vehicles of all eras and possible categories; from the Toyota Celica ST205 with which Richard Genesca-Ludovic Moreau won last year’s victory, to the -koda Fabia Rally 2 by Eduard Pons-Cándido Carrera and Luis Vilariño-Álex Noriega, or the Peugeot 208 Rally 4 who will pilot the junior European runner-up, Pep Bassas.
