The Spanish Basketball Federation has reported that it has been forced to suspend the concentration of the Women’s National Team and the friendly matches in France due to the inconclusive result in one of the covid tests carried out before the appointment. “Given the inconclusive result of the COVID test of one of the members of the technical staff of the Women’s National Team, and for the safety of all the players and the technical staff, the Spanish Basketball Federation has decided to suspend the concentration and the matches that are held. they were going to play against France in Toulouse, “says the FEB, which has added in this regard that” in the next few hours the result of the doubtful test will be confirmed, but in any case, the concentration is suspended definitively. Following the same criterion of caution, this suspension also affects the 3X3 Selection since both teams were concentrated in the same hotel. The President of the FEB, Jorge Garbajosa, wanted to thank the French Federation for both the facilities offered when planning these meetings, as well as the understanding shown before the suspension that has now been decided.

With the national team, Lucas Mondelo had been convoked by the players of CB Avenida Silvia Domínguez, Leo Rodríguez, Maite Cazorla and Andrea Vilaró.
