The Argentina basketball team will face, in the group C of the Tokyo Olympics, with Spain, Japan, and the winner of the Kaunas pre-Olympic. This was determined by the draw held on Tuesday at the Patrick Baumann basketball house in Mies (Switzerland).
In the pre-Olympic in Kaunas the national teams of Lithuania, Korea, Venezuela, Poland, Slovenia and Angola.
The other groups of the Olympic basketball tournament will be the A with Iran, France, the United States and the winner of the pre-Olympic of Victoria (Greece, China, Canada, Uruguay, Czech Rep. And Turkey); and the B with Australia, Nigeria and the winner of the Split pre-Olympic (Germany, Russia, Mexico, Tunisia, Croatia and Brazil) and the winner of the Belgrade pre-Olympic (Dominican R., New Zealand, Serbia, Puerto Rico, Italy and Senegal).
The dates on which these four pre-Olympic tournaments will be held will be from June 29 to July 4.
