Gruden is accused of manipulation

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was charged with manipulation by an NFL General Manager after his conversation with CB Richard Sherman on Cris Collinsworth’s podcast. The defender will become a free agent in March and the coach told him that the AFC West side is looking for a veteran in their secondary for next season.

The NFL has in its regulations that from the week in which Free Agency begins, contact between team members can be made with free agents, before not. That is why Gruden is accused of manipulation.
