Martial Cure, who came from his native Creuse, where he took his first steps for Radio France in Guéret, landed in Orléans in 1988 (the radio is then located rue d’Illiers).

Specialized in sports news coverage, this rugby enthusiast follows in particular the adventures of US Orléans Judo in the European Cup and comments on the competitions live. He will also cover many matches of footballers from the USO, then in the second division, especially during the epic in the Coupe de France during the 88/89 season.

Martial Cure, who left Orléans in 1990 *, then spent more than thirty years at France Bleu Loire Océan in Nantes, where he notably commented on 130 Canaries matches. He will be cremated in family privacy this Tuesday at Château-Thébaud, in Loire-Atlantique. France Bleu Orléans will pay tribute to him this Tuesday, at the start of the broadcast of the match between Avranches and the USO from 7:30 p.m. (in National).
