Ledecká finished among the best again today! But she was in danger of disqualification!

Ester Ledecká continues in the series of results, finishing among the best skiers in the world. In today’s super-giant slalom in Germany, she closed the top six. It is a good promise before the upcoming world championship.

As we informed you, Ester Ledecká was present at the start of Monday’s translated race in the super-giant slalom in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. It was originally supposed to take place on Sunday, but the weather was against it.

Today, the weather conditions have calmed down and allowed for super-G. The Czech skier went to it with the number 3 in the group of the biggest favorites. In the end, she also placed among the best in the finish, when she finished in sixth place.

However, after reaching the finish line, she was still threatened with disqualification due to a helmet that lacked a certification mark. The matter was resolved before the race. Fortunately, the coach’s concerns did not materialize, Ledecká’s result was taken into account.

Exactly a week later, the Alpine Skiing World Championships will begin, with the super-giant slalom on the agenda the very next day. The best form was shown today by the Swiss competitor Lara Gutová-Behrami.
