Judo: the preparation of the elective general assembly on the menu for this Monday’s meeting

After several months of uncertainty fueled by procrastination from the normalization committee, the end of the tunnel of the crisis which has undermined Fécojuda for nearly five years is being felt. Unique federation, until today having not yet held its elective general assembly, the judokas remain optimistic and ardently wish that their art restart on new bases.

« I have been really in trouble since judo was sanctioned nationally, especially with the coronavirus pandemic. We want the federation to be established. All the conditions are met, since the electorate of 2016 is there, the candidates are known. Let the department think about our future, because everything depends on its decision and we are counting on the minister’s willingness to change things. When I competed I made a good living, but now? », Asked a judoka.

This Monday’s meeting will undoubtedly allow the various players in judo to find their account, since it will be a question of applying the texts in force.

Representatives of the Directorate General of Sports, the Congolese National Olympic and Sports Committee, the standardization committee and others will take part in these meetings. They are: André Blaise Bollé; Jean Robert Bindelé; Hervé Séraphin Saturnin Icka; Jean Paul Ngaloua; Jean Nganga; Aloyse Dississa; Serge Wilfrid Mbouma; Gin-Clord Samba Samba; Francoise Mahoungou; Marien Ngouabi Ikama; Arnaud Wamba Sassou Nguesso; Caloger Andrénic Aya and Fernand Ondono.

May wisdom guide the participants in this crucial meeting which will surely lead to a consensus, capable of restoring the image of Congolese judo.
