On January 30, 2021, at the Ishikawa Prefectural Budokan, I participated as a lecturer in a judo experience class, which is one of the prefecture’s junior athlete excavation projects.
I am grateful to be involved in such a project even though I have just arrived in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Approximately 20 children came, although there were some cases of non-participation due to poor physical condition on the day.
The content is like this in 2 hours.
・ What is Judo? (Simple explanation with video)
・Investment technology disclosure
・ Warm up & let’s be passive & let’s do a little judo movement (including game format)
・ Let’s destroy the opponent
・ Let’s try Taiotoshi
I think we were able to proceed smoothly because some of the children had seen the movement of judo and the three instructors cooperated.
I hope that more and more people will enjoy judo again.
I am aiming to create an environment where children can enjoy sports and to make sports familiar to the community, so I will be actively involved in such businesses, and in the future I will have experience events with multiple sports. I think it would be interesting if possible.
It would be great if we could support athletes who can work around judo / sports by combining various activities related to judo / sports such as planning and management, side business coaches, and taking charge of judo classes. First of all, will it be a form that I myself will prove it?
