Ostia – He tried to rob a supermarket (read here) and then, not satisfied, went back the next day accusing employees of stealing his cell phone and 20 euros. It happened in via Ottone Fattiboni, in Dragoncello, between 1 and 2 February.
The man, a multi-judge well known to the police, so much so that he was under special surveillance, had sowed panic in the shop, destroying the shelves and emptying a fire extinguisher. The attempted robbery, which took place around 10 pm on Monday, it had cost him an open complaint.
Not happy, however, the man decided to show up again in the supermarket on Tuesday morning, claiming that, in the hustle and bustle of the previous day, his cell phone and 20 euros had been stolen. As the manager of the commercial operation hurried to call the police, the man threatened the employees shouting that, if they were not returned to him immediately, he would return with a gun to kill them.
The men of the X Lido District, arrived immediately on the spot, they then followed the man home, where they discovered a “Smith & Wesson” pistol (the provenance of which is being investigated), a diving knife and a baseball bat. The man was then arrested on charges of illegal possession of a firearm.
