Despite an interesting playing time under coach Ronald Koeman since the start of the season, striker Martin Braithwaite (29 years old, 17 games and 2 goals in La Liga this season) was not necessarily selected by FC Barcelona during the last winter transfer window. And according to information from the Catalan daily Sport, West Bromwich Albion has offered a loan, with an option to buy, for the former Toulouse player in the home stretch of this transfer period.
But for his part, the Danish international refused to leave. Happy at the Blaugrana, Braithwaite has absolutely no intention of packing his bags. And as he said last January (see here), the Scandinavian, under contract until June 2023, intends to stay next season at Barça.
