Göttingen. The basketball players from Alba Berlin have won their eighth game in a row in the Bundesliga. The German champions won on Tuesday evening at BG Göttingen in a catch-up game 86:75 (41:35). The Berlin team was led by national player Maodo Lo, who scored 23 points, and Luke Sikma in their never really endangered start-finish victory. The American marked 15 points, got twelve rebounds and gave eight assists.

After the Berliners had lost their away games in Göttingen in the past two seasons, this time they achieved their twelfth victory in the 13th Bundesliga game.

Without the injured Niels Giffey and Peyton Siva, the guests started the game well. Alba was already leading 13: 6 after five minutes, and then 26:18 at the end of the first quarter. The Göttingen, who until then had been kept in the game by the recently signed Rihards Lomasz (22 points), got better into the game in the second quarter and reduced to 35:41 at halftime.

In the second half, the Berlin team dominated the action again in their fourth game within seven days. Also thanks to a 10-0 run in the middle of the third quarter, strong throwing rates and a clear superiority in the rebound, Alba pulled away in the third quarter (68:51) and did not allow the Göttingen team to come close in the final section.
