Ajax strict Oussama Idrissi as replacement Promes | Football

On Sunday evening, a top meeting was held in the Johan Cruijff ArenA between director of football affairs and Marc Overmars and trainer Erik ten Hag, who per se wanted a replacement for Promes. That – that much is certain – is on its way to the exit for an amount between 7.5 million and 10 million euros.

Not a priority

But that transfer to Spartak Moscow, which is considered ninety percent likely, is not a priority, because the transfer market in Russia is open for a few more days.

The most important thing for Ajax was to bring in a worthy replacement for Promes. For a long time the management was busy with Kamaldeen Sulemana (18) of FC Nordjaelland, but the deal is too complicated and the time too short to entrap the Ghanaian. Ajax will probably make a new attempt in the summer.

For now, the team from Amsterdam wanted to hire an attacker and the choice fell on Idrissi. The Amsterdammers have less than a day to prepare the paperwork and the inspection, because the transfer market closes on February 1 at 11:59 pm.
