With 7 each selected from the list of 37 unveiled Monday evening by Fabien Galthié, Racing 92 and Toulon are the biggest suppliers of internationals. Right in front of the Stade Toulousain (6). La Rochelle and Montpellier follow with 4 players each summoned, ahead of Lyon (3) and Stade Français Paris (2). Castres, Clermont (once regularly the largest French contingent), Pau and Bordeaux-Bègles each have one selected player. Only Bayonne, Brive and Agen were not solicited. To complete this list by designating five “training partners”, in accordance with the agreement signed between the LNR and the FFR, the staff of the Blues can only draw in the last seven clubs mentioned or in Pro D2. The agreement provides that these five players, who will not be able to play the weekend match, can only come from a club which has, at most, already one selected player. This could allow, for example, Clermontois Jean-Pascal Barraque to be “drafted”.
