Urban “Sports Lottery Cup” Staff Badminton Tournament Ended

On December 30, 2020, the urban “Sports Lottery Cup” employee badminton tournament ended all the schedules and came to a successful conclusion. Zhao Xiusheng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress, attended the event and presented awards to the winners.
The competition was sponsored by the District Working Committee, District Federation of Trade Unions, District Education Bureau, District Health and Sports Bureau, and undertaken by Yangquan City Badminton Association and Yangquan City Youth Amateur Sports School. It aims to thoroughly implement the “Outline of the National Fitness Plan”. Enrich the spare-time cultural life of employees, and show the spirit of unity, hard work, pioneering and courageous leadership of the employees in the district. The competition kicked off on December 28, 2020 and attracted 19 employee representative teams and more than 200 badminton enthusiasts. The competition includes mixed team and mixed doubles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and other events. After fierce competition, in the end, the Yangquan Traffic Police Second Brigade representative team, the Xiazhan Primary School representative team, and the city tax bureau representative team won the top three in the team competition. Zhang Kunfeng and Chen Zhiyong from the Yangquan Traffic Police Second Brigade team won the men’s doubles championship. The mixed doubles and women’s doubles champions were won by Feng Xianming, Wang Quan, Ma Lifang, and Ding Yaqin from the next elementary school team.
