Time to resume for the basketball championships

After the young, the seniors make their comeback in competition. The women’s basketball championship resumes, this Wednesday January 6, 2021. Two days later, Friday January 8, the boys are expected on the floors.

Since March 17, 2020, the discipline was at a standstill for the cups and the championships. With the resumption of competitions, it is a relief for Patrice Alexis, the president of the Guadeloupe basketball league. The confrontations between clubs resume this evening for the women and Friday January 8 for the men.

This Wednesday, January 6, 2021, the reigning BMBC champions are opposed to the female hope pole. To participate in this championship, Creps players benefit from a federal exemption.

10 women’s teams, 14 men’s teams, are involved in the championships. The calendars will be much shorter. For men, the first 8 teams will qualify for the rest of the event.
