Adelaide / Melbourne – For Dominic Thiem in Adelaide, the two-week quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic is coming to an end, as is the case for the majority of the tennis elite in Melbourne. The US Open winner is in a small circle with, among others, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and his training partner Dennis Novak around 650 km as the crow flies northwest of the location of the Australian Open. Thiem is also contesting a show event there, where he meets Rafael Nadal on Friday.
