“The tour appreciates your association with title sponsor Grupo Salinas and your influence on the success of the WGC–Mexico Championship for the past four years. We hope to return to Mexico in 2022, ”he wrote Tyler Dennis, Executive Vice President of the PGA Tour.
This year’s tournament will be conducted Feb. 25-28 at The Concession Golf Club in the Bradenton-Sarasota area in Southwest Florida.

For its part, GolfDigest noted that players were told that “there will be no changes to the tournament eligibility criteria as a result of this news.”
