An era for the Oklahoma Thunder ended with this final season of free agency and the departure of Steven Adams to the New Orleans Pelicans. curiously the Pelicans visited New Orleans to close 2020 and take the victory by a score of 113 to 80, this after beating them in the last quarter by a score of 28 to 7.
At the end of the game, the cameras went to Steven Adams to ask him about his return to Oklahoma with the New Orleans Pelicans and his reaction was true to his outgoing personality:
“Something happened in my brain and it was like, ‘oh shit, it’s true, I’m playing for New Orleans'”
“Something in my brain switched. I was like, ‘Oh s–t. That’s right, I’m playing for New Orleans.‘”
