[Stats & Highlights] Hornets get revenge, Joel Embiid and Trae Young feast

After a first success two days ago, Indiana failed to string together a second straight victory against Charlotte. The Hornets were able to count on the awakening of LaMelo Ball to win.

For the Sixers and Hawks, it was a quiet evening. They certainly had a hectic game, a lot of chatter and intervention with the referees, but Atlanta was too strong, especially Trae Young, who stuck 41 points. Joel Embiid, on the other hand, easily crushed Wolves with 37 points.

Charlotte – Indiana : 108-105

With a gala PJ Washington and a LaMelo Ball that has regained some excitement, the Hornets took their revenge against the Pacers, two days after a loss to them. After counting nine points in advance, Charlotte battled in the last quarter to snatch this victory.

It is Terry Rozier and Devonte ‘Graham, at 3-point, who will definitely rule out the Pacers, despite Malcolm Brodgon’s latest efforts. It is also the latter who will have the equalizer ball, in vain.

Washington – Atlanta : 100-116

With nine technical faults, three expulsions (including Russell Westbrook and Rajon Rondo) or 41 points for Trae Young, the evening was eventful on the side of the capital.

However, on the floor, the Hawks were never worried, keeping a gap around twenty points for most of the second half. Until the last quarter when the Wizards returned to only ten points. This is where Trae Young, again, accelerated with 18 points in the last act.

Minnesota – Philadelphia: 94-118

Joel Embiid uncertain before the start of the meeting, the Wolves hoped not to cross the path of the pivot. Deprived of several interiors to fight against the Philadelphia giant, they finally saw the Cameroonian dominate, as he has been doing since the start of the season.

Precise on the free-throw line to accumulate points in the first period, the Cameroonian finally compiled 37 points in just 27 minutes. Minnesota resisted in the first half but the too many lost balls (18) have, over the meeting, weighed down Ryan Saunders’ men.
