Six dead, including four players, in plane crash in Brazil

Four players from the Palmas club, playing in the Brazilian fourth division, as well as its president died Sunday, January 24 after their plane crashed, the club announced. The pilot also died in the crash, which left no survivors and took place just after take-off of the light aircraft, which left in the morning from Tocantins (center) towards Goiania, where Palmas was scheduled to meet on Monday the Vila Nova club. In 2016, 19 players from Brazilian club Chapecoense were killed in a crash in Colombia, which left 71 people dead in total, while they were scheduled to play a match in Medellin.
