Sergio García and Rahm share top-10 in the Tournament of Champions

The American Ryan Palmer, with six birdies in his last seven holes, joined his compatriot Harris English in the head of Champions Tournament, after the third day of this PGA Tour tour based in Kapalua (Hawaii).

With a card of 198, for a total of 21 under par, the two men share the lead of the tournament, one stroke ahead of another American, Collin Morikawa.

Four players were three strokes away, including South Korean Im Sung-jae and defending champion, American Justin thomas.

“It wasn’t bad,” Palmer said after his performance Saturday, his score of 64 (9 below par). “I sent the ball pretty good and my putt went well.”

World number one Dustin Johnson remains anchored in tenth place, 7 shots behind the two leaders and sharing a result of 205 with Sergio García, who made 67 hits, and Jon Rahm, who concluded the third round with a score of 69.

This event that opens the year 2021 brings together the winners of a tournament in 2020, but also the players who competed in the Tour Championship in September. 42 golfers participate, including eight of the top ten in the world.
