On Friday there will be a competition in sprint, on Saturday there will be a chase, but on Sunday – matches in mixed relays. The next competition for the European Biathlon Championship is the upcoming Planet Championship in Pokļuka in the second decade of February.
Asked whether he will start in the next days of the European Championship, Rastorgujev noted that it has yet to be discussed with his team and the Latvian national team.
“It was planned that if everything is in order, then drive away. The World Cup is important, it is the most important competition of the season. There is still time to prepare for the World Cup. Rastorguyev, 32, is a three-time European champion. In the individual distance, he also won gold in 2014 in Nove Mesto. In 2018, he won a sprint in Rindauna, winning all three forging awards during his career in this discipline. He also has one bronze medal in his account.
