Rahm will start the year among champions in Hawaii

Jon Rahm will start golf 2021 strong. The Biscayan, who has not played an official tournament since the Augusta Masters last November, plans to play four dates until mid-February, a good shoot in a marathon year, which in addition to the regular calendar will include Olympic Games and Ryder Cup.

Rahmbo will return to the clubs in the exotic archipelago of Hawaii. The island of Maui will host the Sentry Tournament of Champions starting next Thursday, in which the best of the PGA participate, all the champions of last season’s tournaments.

Under an inappropriate sun for these dates and among palm trees, he will begin a journey that will then lead him to play, according to Ten Golf, the American Express in La Quinta (California), from January 21 to 24; the Farmers Insurance Open in Torrey Pines (also California), January 28-31, and the Waste Management Phoenix Open, in the city where he resides and where he trained as a player at the University of Arizona, from February 4 to 7.

Both American Express and Farmers Insurance have already won them, in 2018 and 2017 respectively. As of February, The Players and the World Championships seem safe stops for Barrika’s, besides of course the majors and the Olympic Games and the ryder (For these last two events you will almost certainly get a ticket). Everything else remains to be seen.
