Ozil is not included in Arteta’s scheme this season. The 32 year old player wasn’t even registered Arsenal in the Premier League and Champions League 2020/2021.
Apart from Ozil, Arteta is also predicted to be looking for a club to accommodate William Saliba. The 19-year-old defender will be out on loan because he cannot compete.
Two other players who are threatened with being kicked by Arteta are Skhodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Just like Saliba, both of them failed to show their quality at the back.
