Now that the regular season is over, let’s get down to business in the NFL.
Saturday and Sunday 12 teams will be in action in the first qualifying round. Here are five players to watch this weekend:
Tom Brady – Buccaneers de Tampa Bay
In his first season with the “Bucs,” the 43-year-old quarterback led his roster into the playoffs, but still hasn’t reached his goal of winning the Super Bowl.
It will be interesting to see if the Tom Brady of the good days turns up against the Washington football team. If we rely on its performance at the end of the season, we will be treated to quite a show against the only team that qualified with a losing record.
Derrick Henry – Titans du Tennessee
You can’t ignore a running back who has just amassed more than 2,000 yards on the ground. In a duel that promises to be very offensive against the Baltimore Ravens, Derrick Henry’s performance will have an impact on the success or failure of his club.
Stefon Diggs – Bills de Buffalo
The Buffalo Bills have had a great season and that’s thanks in large part to wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Acquired from the Minnesota Vikings before the start of the campaign, the 27-year-old caught 127 passes for 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns.
His talent and leadership have allowed his new club to reach new heights and be a real contender for top honors.
Myles Garrett – Browns de Cleveland
Entering the postseason for the first time since 2002, the Cleveland Browns will have their hands full with the many offensive weapons of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Defensive lineman Myles Garrett will be responsible for hitting Ben Roethlisberger before he unleashes his passes. If he can put enough pressure on him, the Browns could win their first playoff game since 1994.
David Montgomery – Bears de Chicago
If the Chicago Bears are to defeat the mighty New Orleans Saints, running back David Montgomery will have to experience quite a game.
In 2020, the second-year player established himself as the starter of his roster, he who scored 10 majors. He will have a big challenge ahead of him, however, as the defense he faces is considered the best on the Goodell Tour.
