Zion Williamson will miss Wednesday’s New Orleans Pelicans game as he has to go through health and safety protocol the organization has confirmed.
The Pelicans are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers as several games have been postponed in the NBA due to sanitary measures to counter COVID-19.
The Pelicans were already to be without Lonzo Ball, Eric Bledsoe and JJ Redick, all annoyed by injuries.
Since the start of the season, Williamson has averaged 21.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in nine outings.
