NBA – Kyle Lowry: ” The teams look at us and say to themselves: we are going to eat them.

After another defeat against the Celtics, the leader of the Raptors calls for revolt.

With a record of just one win for five losses, the Raptors are currently second to last in the Eastern Conference. A surprise for a champion team in 2019 and author of a remarkable exercise last year with a second place in the NBA

Apart from Kyle Lowry who has known the difficult days of Toronto, the other members of the roster are used to success. Starting with Fred VanVleet who does not hide his disappointment after the last defeat against the Celtics:

“This is unfamiliar territory for most of us. I’ve never been a part of anything like this. No one is going to come to save us. We have to do it ourselves. We need to do our own self-criticism and look at ourselves in the mirror. ”

A balance sheet which represents well the level of Siakam since the bubble, and the Canadian defense which is in the street. And a real problem with the shoot.

A crisis of confidence associated with a lack of harshness in defense as Kyle Lowry points out. The boss of the Raptors also pushes a rant to sound a spirit of revolt in his troops:

“We just need to be a little more eye-catching, a little harder and a little meaner. And rediscover our conquering spirit. At the moment, we don’t have that spirit. We have nothing. There is nothing in us. The teams look at us and say “OK, let’s eat them!”.
