Mourinho wants to send Eriksen to Tottenham, but …

Jakarta

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to send Christian Eriksen home, but there is one thing that stands in the way. What is that?

Sky Sport Italia reported that Tottenham are interested in taking Eriksen on loan until the end of the season. Moreover, he also had difficulty adapting to the game of Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte.

This season, Eriksen has also made only 13 appearances, eight of which have come off the bench. Even so, Eriksen’s salary, which reached 7.5 million Euros per season, is quite expensive for Tottenham.

So far, Inter have not received any official offers regarding Eriksen. However, the Danish player is believed to still be out in the transfer market this January, given his condition that Inter do not really need.

Eriksen was bought by Inter Milan from Tottenham in January 2020 for 27 million euros. His performance at that time was still shiny, but Tottenham chose to let him go because the Danish midfielder was reluctant to extend his contract, which runs out in June 2020.

Apart from Tottenham, Eriksen has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, because there is Mauricio Pochettino, the coach who worked together to lead Tottenham to the 2019 Champions League final.

It’s just that currently PSG are also being rumored to be chasing Dele Alli, who this season has rarely been played at Tottenham and reportedly, Pochettino is prioritizing the signing of the English midfielder over Eriksen.
