LThe reopening of the Fiscal Stadium in Punta Arenas allowed the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Institute to be able, respecting the protocols and sanitary measures corresponding to phase 2 of the Step by Step Plan, to carry out face-to-face activities again.
In this way, during the first week of operation of the sports venue, the Mindep, in conjunction with the IND, conducted face-to-face classes in entertaining dance, power jump, body combat and functional physical conditioning.
“The sensations have been spectacular, feeling the air, and perhaps it will be difficult for us to get used to, for example, using the face shield for the class, but it is an infinite price compared to what we earn. It seems spectacular to us that all the sanitary measures exist, because it helps us to comply with the protocols, it is a place that is won and psychologically it will help us a lot. The users are very happy and there is a new disposition to carry out physical activity in the open air ”, said Hernaldo Fierro, professor of body combat and power jump, about the possibility of carrying out activities in the Fiscal Stadium.
In addition, during this week the parking lot of the Choose Vivir Sano Center was also enabled, where workshops were also held and the Grow in Movement program held a meeting with the students of the sports specialization schools of fencing, judo, swimming, handball, and athletics.
In this way, the boys, girls and young people of the specialization schools, who during 2020 worked online, were able to meet in person to perform physical conditioning and specific work of each sport discipline.
“The truth was super entertaining because you stress all day locked up and unable to leave, so you entertain yourself by exercising and being with friends. Besides, I love doing sports and that is why I decided to come to this activity, ”said Richard Miranda, a judoka from the Pudeto Club who participated in the meeting of the judo sports specialization school.
For his part, the athletics teacher, Diego Matus, pointed out about the possibility of training at the Fiscal stadium that “I think it is a very good opportunity, both for the teachers who were locked up doing classes within four walls and also for the beneficiaries . It serves to take a breath, return to the usual, and what better way than to generate these activities in the Fiscal stadium, which is a quality venue, has the necessary spaces and supplies for any activity that we want to carry out ”.
After the first week of operation, the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Institute will have different face-to-face activities during the month of February, which will take place in the Fiscal Stadium of Punta Arenas and in the parking lot of the Choose Living Sano Center.
In this way, the Fiscal stadium will be used for sports activities that can be carried out by sports clubs and associations, in addition to a free jogging time slot (09:00 to 11:00 hours from Monday to Friday) and training for the athletes of the Promises program Chile.
The use of this sports venue will be made prior reservation of hours through the email [email protected], where, respecting the capacity of ten people per hour and according to availability, you must specify the people who will attend the venue, the activity to perform and the person responsible for it.
