MercatoA2, Rovigo announces the young Enrico Buin | Baseball Mania

Enrico Buin, born in 2003, Italian prospect and raised by Crazy Sambonifacio, is the first “purchase” for the Itas Baseball Softball Club Rovigo team that will take part in the next A2 baseball championship. The agreement was reached between the two clubs as part of a deep collaboration that binds the two clubs especially at the youth level. Enrico Buin has already been part of the Under 18 team from Rovigo in 2019 and is now fully part of the Rossoblu programs who have found a sort of utility in the young Veronese. Strong on the mound but extremely effective also in the batting box, Buin was part of the Serie B of Pastrengo in the last two seasons with excellent results.

Enrico is also a staple of the Under 18 national team that this year will try to conquer the European title in July in Italy, in Macerata, or at least the pass for the World Cup in the category scheduled in the United States in September. Involved by Lucio Taschin also in various Major League camps at European level, Buin had no doubts that precisely in Rovigo he can find motivation and growth thanks to a highly respected technical staff: in addition to the local one already consolidated with Lorenzo Malengo and Yoel Becerra, with the arrivals of the Soto technicians, the American Goulding and the new manager of Italy Under 18 Francesco Aluffi who has recently started collaborating with the Rovigo team.

“We are obviously happy with Enrico’s arrival – commented the president of Itas Baseball Softball Club Rovigo, Alessandro Boniolo -. We have a team for Serie A2 that has some experienced players but also many young people who are our strong point. With Lorenzo Taschin and Lorenzo De Marchi (all born in 2003) they can represent an interesting prospect to play an important role on the mound. We thank Crazy Sambonifacio and the Buin family for their trust in us ”.

“We are happy for the choice made by Enrico and for the agreement found with Rovigo, a company with which we have been collaborating successfully for some time – says the president of Crazy Sambonifacese, Simone Lonardi – The fact that his growth path is continuing does not surprise us. Enrico is a guy who has always shown respect and a desire to improve. Joined the Crazy family at the age of 5, it is one of the fruits of the training work on which we focused when the company, a few years ago, decided to focus decisively on the youth sector. His arrival in Rovigo is also a reward for all the technicians who have worked with him in his growth path. Thinking back to his first steps, we cannot forget when Enrico, as a child, came to the field to see his brother Fabio play and told us that he would never play baseball because he didn’t like it. Luckily he changed his mind! ”.
