Ligue 2: Charles Boli, nephew of Basile, joins Paris FC

Paris FC, which goes to Toulouse this Tuesday for the 18th day of Ligue 2, was quick to start its transfer window, officially open since Saturday. The club ranked 5th in the championship obtained this Monday the loan for six months from Charles Boli, 22-year-old attacking midfielder from Lens (L1), where he is under contract until June 2024.

He is the son of Roger, top scorer in L1 in 1994 (tied with Ouedec and Djorkaeff) and the nephew of Basile, emblematic player of OM. His two older brothers, Kevin (Samsunspor) and Yohan (Al-Rayyan SC) are also pros.

A hard-hitting player who can evolve on both sides, this left-hander reinforces an attacking sector currently deprived of many injured players (Nomenjanahary, Lopez, Caddy, Diaby Fadiga…). Arrived Sunday evening in Paris, Charles Boli trained for the first time this Monday morning with his new teammates. His contract having been approved by the LFP, he is already joining the group which will go to Toulouse this Tuesday.

In August, he suffered a tendon-muscular injury of the left hamstring and missed the first two months of the championship. Since his return, he has appeared on the bench several times but has never come into play in L1.

Last season, the player had participated in the rise of Lens (10 games, 1 goal) and had notably achieved two remarkable performances against… Paris FC.
